Charles Phillips
Chair

Charles Phillips, CA, is the President and CEO of Armtec Infrastructure Fund. Mr. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and Chartered Accountant Designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mr. Phillips has extensive background in establishing and implementing strategic plans as well as directing corporate finance activities involving both acquisitions and major generative capital expenditures, establishing appropriate financing optimizing balance between cost of capital and risk.
Governance Experience: Member, Young President’s Organization (YPO); Member, Board of Managers, Central Presbyterian Church; Member, Board of Managers Beaches Presbyterian Church.




Frank Voss
Vice Chair

Frank Voss, P.Eng., is a Registered Professional Engineer and the General Manager of Production Control at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. Mr. Voss is a senior manager with extensive background in project planning, new product development, e-commerce, operations, and information systems, in a high tech manufacturing environment.
Governance Experience: Vice-President, software user group; Vice-President, Project Management Institute (PMI) at the chapter level.

Robert Cunningham

Robert Cunningham, a former Senior Executive, Operations Administration with Babcock & Wilcox Canada Limited, where he worked for 46 years. Mr. Cunningham has extensive management experience in supply management, transportation, business planning, strategic development, public relations, information technology, marketing, human resources and industrial relations.
Governance Experience: Director, Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation; President, Canadian Boiler Society; Canadian Representative, American Boiler Manufacturing Association; Member, Founding Committee, Canada’s Technology Triangle; Executive Member, CANDU Industries; President, Galt Curling Club; President, Galt Minor Softball.
Distinctions & Recognition: Member Cambridge Sports Hall of Fame.



Robert J. Blowes
Member

Robert J. Blowes, is a partner and Senior Vice Leader of Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants in Kitchener. A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Mr. Blowes has practiced as a CA since 1977 and received his CPA designation in 2002. Mr. Blowes is also a member of Ernest & Young’s Financial Management and Controls Practice.
Governance Experience: Chairman and Treasurer, KidsAbility Centre for Child Development; Treasurer, KidsAbility Charitable Foundation; Member, Audit Committee, KW Community Foundation; Faculty Member, Directors College of the DeGroote School, audit committee training.




Angelo Loberto
Member

Angelo Loberto, CA, is the Senior Director of Corporate Operations with Research In Motion Limited (RIM). Mr. Loberto holds Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. He brings a wealth of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, and Strategic Alliances (M&A) activities. Mr. Loberto also travels extensively throughout North America, Europe and Asia heading up the acquisitions of real estate, management of facilities and overseeing the building design and construction group.
Governance Experience: Member, Cambridge Memorial Hospital Finance and Audit Committee; Member, Cambridge Memorial Hospital Building and Planning Sub-Committee.



Donovan Pavey

Donovan Pavey, LLB, former partner in Pavey, Law & Wannop LLP, Barristers and Solicitors. He completed his Masters in Business Law in 1977 and concentrated his law practice on business, municipal and commercial law.
Governance Experience: Volunteer, YMCA of Cambridge; Board Member, Cambridge Memorial Hospital Volunteer Association; President, Kiwanis Club of Cambridge, Board Member, Renison College; Board Member, Canadian Diabetes Association of Cambridge;, Province of Ontario and National Board; Chairman, Regional Cycling Advisory Committee; Member, Cambridge On-Road Cycling Committee and Chairperson, Cambridge Tour de Grand.
Distinctions & Recognition: Mel Osborne Award recipient from Kiwanis Club of Cambridge.

Dr. Michael Lawrie
Ex-Officio Board Member

Dr. Michael Lawrie, MD, CCFP, FCFP is the CMH Interim Chief of Staff. Dr. Lawrie has been actively and extensively involved in advancement of his medical profession and in the community of Cambridge since 1977. He is a preceptor for the Rural Ontario Medical Program since 2005 and continues to mentor medical students. He is a certified small group facilitator and Teaching Associate of Medicine at McMaster University. Dr. Lawrie is the Team Physician of Junior B Hockey Team “The Winterhawks” and Cambridge Figure Skating Club. He is also Medical Director of Short Track Speed Skating Championships (Worlds, 1994 and North American, 2004).
Governance Experience: President, Rotary Club of Cambridge Sunrise; Chair, United Way of Cambridge and North Dumfries Campaign Cabinet; Chair, Disaster – Emergency Response Committee;, Vice President, Medical Staff Association; Member, Medical Advisory Committee, Chair, Cambridge Interfaith Pastoral Counselling Centre; Chair, Organizing Committee, Cambridge Times Rotary Classic;Board Member, Wesley United Church; Board Member, Cambridge Shelter Corporation; Chair, Personal Gifts Division for the Bridges Homeless Centre.
Distinctions & Recognition: College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) - the “ideal physician” award for outstanding contributions to his profession;, Robert C. Dr. Iqbal Biswas

Dr. Iqbal Biswas, MD, FRCPC, is the CMH President of the Medical and Professional Staff Association. Dr. Biswas has been educated and worked in many locations around the world. He is also a Presenter at international and national meetings on various aspects related to anesthesia and has published articles in various medical journals.
Governance Experience: Member, CMH Medical Advisory Committee; Member, CMH Quality of Care Committee; Member, CMH Critical Care Management Team; Chair, CWJMH Pharmacy Committee; Member, CWJMH Education Committee; Chair, CWJMH Emergency Planning Committee.
Distinctions & Recognition: Voluntary Medical Officer, 3rd South Asian Federation Games; Certificate of Merit, All India Senior School Certificate Examination.



Dr. Glenn Martin
Ex-Officio Board Member

Dr. Glenn Martin, M.D. FRCPC, is the CMH Vice- President of the Medical and Professional Staff Association. Dr. Martin did his undergraduate science training, medical degree and specialty training at the University of Western Ontario. He was on the medical staff of Oshawa General Hospital from 1985 to 1991 and has been on the medical staff of Cambridge Memorial Hospital since 1991. Dr. Martin enjoys a busy Internal Medicine practice at CMH and in his private his office near the hospital.
Governance Experience: Vice-President Cambridge Academy of Medicine; President Cambridge Academy of Medicine; Member Ontario Medical Association Biomedical Ethics Committee for six years; Member Cambridge Memorial Hospital Bioethics Committee for 10 years; Member Stewardship and Finance Committee Breslau Mennonite Church for 12 years.
