Physicians GP - Palliative (Full and Part-time)
Duties involve the supervison of chemotherapy and management of its complications, in collaboration with an on-site, full-time Oncologist. The Palliative physician will provide pain and symptom management, post treatment follow-up, end-of-life care in the hospital and community. Experience in oncology would be beneficial, but interested and qualified physicians could receive on-site training.




Physicians General Internist - Must have ICU experience and interested in teaching medical learners.

The Mental Health Program provides a continuum of services for clients. Including Psychiatric Emergency Services, Inpatient Schedule 3 moving to Schedule 1 status, Outpatient Adult, Child and Family, Seniors Mental Health, Eating Disorders and Transition/Outreach programming.
As part of the Psychiatric Team, you would join a team of highly dedicated, experienced psychiatrists in the provision of emergency, inpatient and outpatient services. Working in an interdisiplinary team environment you will provide clinical direction and leadership in the assessment and management of mental health clients. A comprehensive sessional program is in place. Physicians receive Hosptal On-call Compensation funding.
If you are eligible or have a current license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have a fellowship or equivalent from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Candada, we would be interested in speaking with you.




Physicians CHIEF OF STAFF

We are seeking an experienced physician leader to assist in developing our organization as a leading community hospital. As the Chief of Staff, the candidate will work with our physician team and hospital executive to ensure the provision of superior health care to the citizens in our community and provide supportive direction to the physician leaders.

Candidates may be either a family or specialist physician, eligible for an active staff appointment at CMH. Your leadership acumen must include well-honed interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated experience in conflict management and facilitation, and a strong desire to make an impact in your professional environment. You must be able to build upon and maintain the positive relationships with the Board of Governors, administration, clinical chiefs and medical staff.

The candidate will report to the Board of Governors. The Chief of Staff chairs the Medical Advisory Committee, provides leadership to the chiefs of the clinical departments and participates in governance, senior management and external forums. The time commitment of this position is approximately three days per week.
