All staff, volunteers, and agents (physicians) are provided with training about the Customer Service Regulation as required by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005. Training includes information on the legislation, how to treat people with a disability, the use of support persons, service animals and guide dogs, the availability of resources both within the hospital and in the community, how to access those resources, and methods for the public to provide feedback to the hospital. |
