Cambridge Memorial Hospital is working closely with public health agencies and area health providers to create a safe hospital environment for our patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and visitors as we respond to the H1N1 Influenza at the local level.
We are NOT in an outbreak situation related to H1N1. |

What is H1N1 Influenza A? |
H1N1 is a respiratory illness that causes symptoms similar to those of the regular human seasonal flu. Symptoms include: fever, headache, cough, loss of appetite, runny nose, muscle aches, sneezing, sore throat, and sometimes nausea and vomiting. |

Visiting Restrictions at Cambridge Memorial Hospital |
Visitor restrictions are in place until further notice. One visitor at a time per patient on all units will be strictly enforced. Visiting hours are from 2-8 p.m.
Please do not visit if you are currently ill or have been in contact with a person who has been ill in the past 48 hours.
Please clean your hands before and after visiting. Hand hygiene is the single most effective way to prevent the spread of communicable diseases such as colds and flu.

| What can we do to protect ourselves from catching H1N1? |
Cleaning your hands often is the best way to prevent illness. Please use the alcohol hand sanitizers to clean your hands and read the signs when you come into the hospital. There is important information about H1N1 for you. |
