What is a PDF?
get adobe acrobat readerPDFs are files saved in the Adobe Portable Document Format. PDF is an industry-standard document format that allows anyone with the free Adobe Reader to view and print PDF files. Acrobat Reader is free for download at Adobe’s site.

How to download/open a PDF.
PDF files can be opened in your browser (click once); OR saved to your hard drive (right click and “Save Target As”). We recommend that you save large files directly to your hard drive.

How do I learn to use Adobe Acrobat Reader?
If you have never worked with a PDF file before, you may want to review the Reader Guide in the Acrobat application (in the menu: Help > Reader Guide) to find out more about using PDFs. Adobe’s web site has a complete Adobe Acrobat Reader Support section for further reference.
