In 2009, Cambridge Memorial Hospital was honoured to be designated as a Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO) by the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO). The aim of the BPSO initiative is to create working environments where the most current evidence is used in day-to-day practice by all nurses.
Cambridge Memorial Hospital has implemented numerous Best Practice Guidelines (BPGs) with specific outcome measures that improve the quality of the patient experience, ensure evidence based best practice and promote the health of individuals including healthy lifestyle choices in our discharge planning process.
