Well, our awesome laboratory and the great staff that run it can breathe a sigh of relief – only until February 9, 2018 that is. It appears they have received full accreditation – OLA 15189 Plus, which to lay people, means they competed for and got the Stanley Cup of their world. This level of accreditation is actually a mega-meta-test designed to ensure compliance to different International Standards including 1) Particular requirements for Quality and Competence; 2) Safety; 3) Point of Care Testing, Quality and Competence; and 4) Blood and Blood components. We would and could say congratulations on this wonderful achievement, but it was always known you would get it! (Congratulations anyway).
