Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) was honoured to be invited to participate in a Job Fair organized by the Islamic Center of Cambridge on July 16, 2025.
“It was a pleasure having the opportunity to share our deep commitment to building a more inclusive healthcare environment that is not only resilient—but thrives,” shared Urszula Guzzi, Human Resources Support.
The Islamic Center of Cambridge, who is dedicated to community upliftment, made this event possible. Their continued support as a generous and long-time donor to the hospital and local initiatives reinforces our shared vision of creating healthier communities together.
“It was a privilege to stand beside other community-based organizations—to connect with so many enthusiastic and passionate job seekers,” says Avneet Dhiman, Administrative Resident, Strategy & Performance, Administration.
Together, Urszula and Avneet engaged hundreds of job seekers—including students, newcomers, and experienced professionals—who were exploring new career paths. They shared information about both clinical and corporate roles at CMH.
Each position—whether it involves engaging directly with a patient or supporting them from behind the scenes, plays an important and valuable role.
“It’s more than just a job,” says Urszula, “it’s building into our workplace culture a space for learning, collaboration, and respect.”
This event also offered a chance to highlight other avenues for contribution and growth—through co-op placements, internships, volunteer roles, and more.
“I’m really proud to be a part of CMH—” says Avneet, a past co-op student herself, “—I had the opportunity to have meaningful conversations about what it means to serve such a diverse community.”
Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing interest and excitement about the roles available.
Special thanks to the Islamic Center of Cambridge for their continued partnership and support—and for helping CMH welcome many new faces as a result of this initiative.
Here’s to building a strong, passionate community—one that keeps growing together!
